Ants and the Arab Spring of 2011
Ants communicate instantaneously with chemical phermones.
Protestors in the arab world communicated instantaneously with facebook, twitter or whatever.
Stalin would have hated facebook.
Its very hard to oppress someone when there are no secrets,
because the world knows immediately who is getting the cattle prod or waterboard.
--but there still might not be cell phone reception in the gulag archipeligo.
Anyway,
if thoughts and feelings and emotions are shared instantly in a vast network
what happens to the individual
standing against the stream
reflecting and not sharing
or was that an illusion?
